Pink Carpet Foundation – timeline
2017:
The first Pink Carpet Event took place in the library of Roosevelt High School (St. Louis, MO) as the culminating event of a month-long series of activities to bring awareness about breast cancer, its effects, and the importance of finding a cure to students and staff with 26 attendees. The funds raised from the luncheon were donated to the American Cancer Society-St. Louis.
2018:
The Pink Carpet Event shifted its focus to education and youth hosting its second annual event as a scholarship fundraiser at Infinite Occasions with 87 attendees. Pink Carpet merged its passion for educating participants about breast cancer and offering scholarships to youth impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis of a parent or grandparent to further their post-secondary education.
2019:
Pink Carpet Foundation was established as a non-profit organization in the state of Missouri and the IRS. PCF held its third annual Pink Carpet Event at Infinite Occasions selling out the venue space reserved with 105 attendees!
2020:
In Summer 2020, PCF issued its first $500 scholarship to a male scholar assisting with his post-secondary education expenses at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.
PCF hosted its first “virtual” Pink Carpet Event in the quake of the coronavirus pandemic. In year four, we had 135 supporters with 94 of the supporters attending the virtual event!
2021:
Pink Carpet Event returned to celebrate its fifth year with 92 in-person supporters and 20 live stream viewers! PCF awarded two $500 scholarships to male scholars attending Lincoln University (Jefferson City, MO) and Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN).
2022:
