Dr. Monica Nicole Perry, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, is a dedicated educational leader and advocate for student success. She currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Francis Howell North High School in the Francis Howell School District. Before joining the district, Dr. Perry held several impactful leadership roles within Riverview Gardens School District and St. Louis Public Schools, including Science Department Chair and Teacher, District Professional Development Representative, and Associate Principal.
As an educator, Dr. Perry is passionate about empowering students to become the best versions of themselves through academic excellence, leadership, and student voice. She believes every student deserves access to a high-quality education and encourages young people to rise above limitations and expectations often placed before them.
Dr. Perry’s academic achievements reflect her commitment to education and leadership. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology (1999) and a Master of Science in Biology (2001) from Jackson State University. She later earned a Master of Arts in Education Administration (2008) from Lindenwood University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (2017) from Maryville University. In the summer of 2020, she also received a certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University.
Beyond education, Dr. Perry is deeply committed to serving others. Her volunteer efforts include work with organizations such as Samaritan’s Feet, Women’s Safe House, Susan G. Komen St. Louis, and Annie Malone Children & Family Service Center, among many others. Known for her compassionate spirit and authentic leadership, Dr. Perry has positively impacted the lives of countless students, families, and community members.
Dr. Perry is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the National Council of Negro Women. She is also the founding Chief Executive Officer of the Pink Carpet Foundation, a nonprofit organization established to provide scholarships and support to children of breast cancer patients, helping them pursue their dreams and create brighter futures despite life’s challenges.
